Michelle leads the Investor Outreach & Engagement Team alongside Alistair Hewitt.

Prior to joining EDHEC, Michelle spent several years working with business intelligence service providers like Preqin and With Intelligence in the alternative assets market. She was the Co-head of With Intelligence’s Investor Research team, managing a global team of journalists, research analysts and team leaders and oversaw data collection, curation and quality controls. At Preqin, Michelle held the role of Head of News & Engagement, where she managed a global team of news analysts in driving timely, aggregated market updates to the dataset. There she further developed and managed an in-house Engagement training program for the research team to equip them with the key skills needed for engaging investors and fund managers which underpinned Preqin’s proprietary content via relationship-driven research. Earlier, Michelle has also spent almost a decade with S&P Global Platts, covering the over-the-counter energy commodities markets both in Asia and London in junior-mid management roles.

Michelle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and a diploma in Fine Art from University of the Arts London.
